Adorable home: This casual game lets you decide how committed you want to be to your game. Log in every minute? That's fine. Every other day? That's perfectly fine with the game too. The pace of the game is perfect for busy adults and students looking for something to unwind.

Amidst the popular gun shooting and sword-wielding games that populate the world of video games, developer Hyperbeard offers the total opposite- a casual passive game. “Adorable Home”, is a mobile application game that was released on both iOS and Google Play on the 8th of January.
Unlike other games, Adorable Home does not require your full commitment. It only requires a few minutes of your time every few hours. What’s the fun in such a non-interactive game, you ask? For the working adults and busy students, this can be a stress-reliever, escaping into a world of no-work nor stress. On top of that, the excitement of finding out what your character or cats are doing every other hour would compel you to come back again and again.

Tip: Check back every few hours and click on the TV for free hearts. In addition to that, you can watch advertisements for double hearts. The game begins with you choosing your character. The scene will continue with you and your partner moving into a new home. The main goal of the game is to collect hearts from your pet cats and your partner. These hearts are the currency of the game. You can use them to decorate your house with cute furniture and feed your partner and cats.

Tip: Out of all the 4 selections of cat food, dried fishes gives me the most hearts! They range from 80~100.
Cats and mini-games
There are also 3 mini-games, all of which to earn even more hearts from your cats. You can choose to pet them, cut their nails or shower them. All of which comes with a small challenge to earn the love of your cats.
Like real cats, be prepared for some cat-titude where your cats will not want you to interact with them. If that happens, you can’t earn hearts from them.
Check back in an hour or two to watch your character or your cats interact with the various furniture in your house. There is a small expansion to your house where you can get a garden for 2,400 hearts.
With this garden expansion, you are able to gather even more hearts from other animals that will appear in your house depending on your furniture placed.
Your partner
Besides the cute cats and animal visits, you will also have to prepare a bento for your partner when he/she comes home from work every day. In turn, your partner will give you the amount of hearts depending on how much they liked it.
Tip: So far, the sushi (main dish), sashimi (sides) and wagashi (dessert) along with a Japanese Bento Box gives me the most hearts (1,011).
At other times, you can catch you and your partner chilling out in the lounge or interacting in the garden together.

Occasionally, you can find the game surprising you with special moments when you open the game. They will present you with a page where you click on the camera’s shutter and you’ll be able to capture a special moment of your cats.

These pictures are called moments and are stored in the “moments” tab in the game. Moments are captured at random days, so you’ll never know what you’re in for every time you open the game.

With it's launch, Adorable Home sees a long and bright future ahead with even more content updates. It has hinted at even more expansions of the house like the bedroom and bathroom in the near future.
