Ready to take a trip down memory lane? Here’s a list of nostalgic games from the 90s that will make you want to hit replay.

1. 3D Pinball Space Cadet (1995)

Ever played this game to pass time even if you weren’t good at it? 3D Pinball Space Cadet was a digital table released in 1995 as part of the Microsoft Plus! Upgrade package for Windows 95. The visuals of Pinball are colourful and intriguing. It’s simple to play but tough to score - navigate the ball through the table and make sure it doesn’t fall into the gutters (not so easy!).

This game does not exist anymore but you can still download the executable file and try to run it on the newer versions of Windows.

2. Solitaire (1990)

Do you remember feeling like an adult playing this game when you were like… 7 or 8? Patience, or solitaire is an online card game released in the late 90s. The goal of the game is to move all 52 cards as quickly as possible to the four foundation piles, in sequence and in suit.

Even though the game was removed on Windows 8, here's good news! Microsoft is now bringing back Solitaire as a built-in-game on Windows 10. It is a slightly improved modern version from Windows 8, but you no longer have to search around the Windows Store to find it and play.

3. Club Penguin (2005-2017)

“Mum! 10 minutes! I have to feed my puffles!”

Club penguin is a massive multiplayer game, where players use cartoon penguin-avatars in a virtual winter world. Players could decorate their igloos, keep puffles as pets, become a spy agent, hang out at the gift shop and pizzeria and even be a ninja penguin!

Unfortunately, it was discontinued in 2017 and a petition was started for Disney to bring it back.

Even though the petition didn’t succeed, Club Penguin Rewritten, a more kid-friendly version of the game, has been active since January 2019.
